ABOUT Chichester Camping and Caravanning Club Site
This small, neat site is just to the west of Chichester and north of Bosham harbour. Formerly an orchard, it is rectangular in shape with 58 pitches on flat, well mown lawns on either side of gravel roads. All pitches have 16A electricity, 42 with level hardstanding. Although the A27 bypass takes most of the through traffic, the site is by the main A259 road so there may be some traffic noise in some parts (not busy at night). Opposite the park are orchards through which paths lead to the seashore. Arrival must be before 20.00 unless prior arrangements have been made with the site manager.
Portsmouth is nearby with its ferry port and historic Naval Dockyard. Other attractions include Goodwood (racing), Chichester (Festival Theatre) and Fishbourne Roman palace, with Southampton and the New Forest a little further afield. There is no parking outside or overnight area for late arrivals.
