ABOUT Kessingland Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Kessingland Camping & Caravanning Club site is just over a mile from the beach and next to Africa Alive wildlife park. The Suffolk coast beaches are just one of the draws for the site, which is tucked away behind the former fishing village with which it shares its name. The beach runs into Benacre National Nature Reserve, which is famous for bird sightings every spring. The area around the Kessingland site is great for animal lovers, and you can see 300 species of birds at the RSBP reserve at Minsmere. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens near Great Yarmouth has a tiger compound and tree-top walk to view the animals. Please be aware that wind turbines are adjacent to the site, and you may hear some noise, and you'll also likely hear the lions next door roaring. Please note that Kessingland Beach is shingle, and dogs are not allowed when walking towards Southwold. The site has 85 grass pitches, all with an electric hook-up point. There are also 7 Safari tents available to hire.
